DIP package ICs are one of the most common packages type we use in our projects or industrial applications too. But when you are using Perfboard or designing your own PCB or even when you want your product to be easily serviceable if your IC gets damaged. This 24-pin DIP IC Socket is a very useful if you wish to provide a place for your DIP IC to be easily removed from your board in case you want to change it easily while prototyping or if it gets damaged. By using this Socket, you can also reuse your IC as you don’t need to solder the IC to your board as socket can be soldered onto the board and you can put your IC on the socket. This comes in a black plastic with good conducting metal pins. This is used to fix DIP switches or ICs. This is durable and good strength, and plastic used in this 24 pin DIP IC socket is strong which makes it durable and reliable in operation.
