The Adalogger FeatherWing enhances any Feather board by adding both a battery-backed Real Time Clock (RTC) and microSD card storage. Using Feather Stacking or Female Headers, you can easily attach the FeatherWing to your Feather board, enabling data logging functionality. This FeatherWing includes an I2C RTC (PCF8523) with a 32KHz crystal and battery backup, along with a microSD socket that connects to the SPI port pins. While the FeatherWing doesn't come with a microSD card, it does require a CR1220 coin cell for the RTC backup, though it's not necessary if you're not using the RTC feature. For precise timekeeping, you can also check out the DS3231 FeatherWing. The tutorial guide provides wiring instructions, pinouts, and code examples for both Arduino and CircuitPython, making it easy to get started with data logging on any Feather board. Features: RTC: Battery-backed I2C real-time clock (PCF8523). MicroSD Slot: For data logging via SPI. Feather-Compatible: Attaches easily to any Feather board. Battery Backup: Requires CR1220 coin cell (not included). Tutorial Guide: Includes wiring diagrams and code examples. Package Includes: 1 x Adalogger FeatherWing
