MAX3232 - RS232 to TTL Serial Port Converter Module

AS most of our Microcontrollers (PIC/ARM/Atmel) operates on TTL/CMOS logic that is it communicates through either 0V or +5V, but our computers work with the help of RS232 which operates at logic level -24V or +24V. So, if we have to interface these microcontrollers with a Computer, we need to convert the TTL/CMOS logic to RS232 logic. Hence if you are looking for an IC to perform this conversion and interface a Microcontroller with your computer then this IC module is the right one for you. It is widely used in radio modification, XBOX360 flash, GPS, vehicle detection, DVD flash, hard disk repair set-top box upgrade etc. applications. It can be used to program STC MCU, NXP MCU, Renesas MCU, STM32 MCU, N+-2EC MCU.

MAX3232 Module Specifications

• Easy to use and low cost
• No need of any soldering just plug and play
• Compatible with most of the microcontrollers which operate on either 3.3V and 5V
• Robust and can be used in Industrial applications too

Product Description
