The Raspberry Pi DigiAMP+ is a high-performance audio HAT designed specifically for Raspberry Pi. It features a Texas Instruments stereo Class-D amplifier capable of driving passive stereo speakers with adjustable output. Instead of using the Raspberry Pi’s own power supply, the DigiAMP+ is powered through an external DC input via a standard barrel jack. It also provides regulated power back to the Raspberry Pi through the GPIO header, eliminating the need for a separate power supply for the Pi when the DigiAMP+ is in use.
