The PG Cable Gland Connector is a waterproof device that connects cables to enclosures. Made of durable plastic nylon material and rated IP68, it can withstand harsh environments. It consists of a threaded body, locking nut, sealing ring, and compression gland. The threaded body attaches to the housing, the locking nut secures the cable, the sealing ring creates a watertight seal, and the compression gland prevents the cable from being pulled out. The PG Cable Gland Connector is available in various sizes to accommodate different cable diameters.
Here is a chart of PG gland sizes with their corresponding cable diameter ranges:
| PG Size | Cable Diameter Range (mm) |
|---|---|
| PG7 | 3-6.5 |
| PG9 | 4-8 |
| PG11 | 5-10 |
| PG13.5 | 6-12 |
| PG16 | 10-14 |
| PG21 | 12-18 |
| PG29 | 18-25 |
| PG36 | 22-32 |
| PG42 | 32-38 |
| PG48 | 37-44 |
| PG63 | 42-54 |
| PG75 | 55-68 |
It's important to note that the above chart is a general guide, and actual cable diameter ranges may vary depending on the specific cable being used and the application requirements. It's always recommended to consult the manufacturer's specifications or consult with a professional when selecting the appropriate PG gland size for a particular application.
