RakWireless WisBlock Base Board 2nd Gen RAK19007

The RAK19007 is the second-generation WisBlock Base Board from RAKWireless, designed to enhance and eventually replace the earlier RAK5005-O model. It offers several key improvements, including a modern USB Type-C connector, a redesigned layout that allows GNSS modules to be used without blocking other sensor slots, and an upgraded voltage regulator for more efficient power management. Supporting both 5V USB and 3.7V rechargeable battery power sources, the RAK19007 also features a 5V solar panel input for charging in remote or off-grid setups. One of its standout features is an electronic load switch that enables software-controlled power to WisBlock modules, helping reduce energy consumption in battery-powered applications. With a compact size of just 30 x 60 mm, the RAK19007 is ideal for space-constrained IoT solutions. While it is set to replace the RAK5005-O, both boards are currently available with minimal price differences until existing RAK5005-O stock is depleted.
