Built around the high-performance 11.9-megapixel Sony IMX708 image sensor, this assembly enables advanced imaging in a wider variety of hardware designs and form factors. Key features include 2D Dynamic Defect Pixel Correction (DPC) for real-time correction of faulty pixels, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for fast and accurate focusing, a QBC (Quad Bayer Coding) re-mosaic function for enhanced image detail, and full support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging to capture both bright and dark scenes with greater clarity. The module also features a powered autofocus lens with a 76° field of view, optimized for visible light.
