One of the most significant advantages of this hexacopter frame is its redundancy and safety features. In case of motor failure, a quadcopter would immediately crash, but the S550 Hexacopter is capable of maintaining flight with one or even two motors down, offering an extra layer of security during operations.

Constructed from high-quality engineering materials, the frame ensures durability while keeping the overall weight low. The integrated PCB (Printed Circuit Board) allows for direct ESC soldering, eliminating the need for an additional Power Distribution Board (PDB). This feature simplifies assembly and results in a cleaner and more efficient build.

The S550 frame kit includes carbon fiber landing gear, further enhancing its lightweight structure and robustness. The frame has a wheelbase of 550mm and weighs around 760 grams, making it ideal for carrying larger payloads such as camera systems, sensors, and other electronics. With pre-threaded brass sleeves, assembling the hexacopter is quick and hassle-free. The frame is designed to support a variety of motors with mounting hole centers of 16mm, 19mm, and 25mm, ensuring broad compatibility. Additionally, the large mounting tabs at the front and rear ends make it easy to install cameras and other accessories.
